Jet launches Delhi-Hong Kong flight (Business Capsule-Two)
October 1st, 2009 - 8:27 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Oct 1 (IANS) Private carrier Jet Airways Thursday launched its inaugural Delhi-Hong Kong flight.
This is Jet Airways’ second service to Hong Kong. The airline is currently operating a daily non-stop flight between Mumbai and Hong Kong.

BHEL gets new chairman
New Delhi: B. Prasada Rao Thursday took over as the chairman and managing director of the state-run power equipment maker Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL).
Rao joined BHEL in 1978 and has worked in various roles in the public sector enterprise.

Sam Pitroda to chair railways committee
New Delhi: The railways ministry has constituted an expert committee under the chairmanship of Sam Pitroda to advise it on the use of information and communication technologies.
The committee will consult the railways on the use of technology and innovations to improve security, safety, services, efficiency and growth.

Abhay Kumar Srivastava new NALCO chairman
Bhubaneswar: Abhay Kumar Srivastava Thursday took over as the new chairman and managing director of state-run National Aluminium Co(NALCO).
He took over the reins from C.R. Pradhan who retired Sep 30.
Before joining NALCO, Srivastava had been the chairman and managing director of another public sector undertaking Cement Corp of India for five years.

Wrigley’s organising Oral care marathon
Mumbai: Indian Dental Association (IDA) in partnership with Wrigley’s Orbit is organising an oral care marathon here Oct 9.
The event, “Mumbai Smiles”, is being organised as part of the World Dental Show, where over 600 dentists from across the country will meet and participate in a 24-hour dental check-up marathon.
