Jet Airways second quarter net profit at Rs.12.4 crore
October 29th, 2010 - 6:08 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Oct 29 (IANS) Jet Airways Friday reported a net profit of Rs.12.4 crore for the second quarter of the current fiscal as against a net loss of Rs.406.69 crore in the year-ago period.
“Company has posted a net profit of Rs.124.00 million for the quarter ended Sep 30, 2010 as compared to net loss of Rs.4,066.90 million for the quarter ended Sep 30, 2009,” the company said in a statement.
The total income of the airline grew by 31.90 percent and stood at Rs.3,140.64 crore in the second quarter as compared to Rs.2,380.97 crore for the quarter ended Sep 30, 2009.
“Total Income has increased from Rs.23,809.70 million for the quarter ended Sep 30, 2009 to Rs.31,406.40 million for the quarter ended Sep 30, 2010,” the statement added.
