Jet Airways’ market share 26.1 percent in February
March 23rd, 2011 - 6:26 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, March 23 (IANS) Leading private airline Jet Airways Wednesday reported a consolidated market share of 26.1 percent in the domestic segment in February.
“Jet Airways together with JetLite, successfully retained its leadership position in the Indian aviation sector with dominant market share of 26.1 percent,” a company statement said.
It further said last month Jet Airways carried about 3.81 lakh international passengers and 8.24 lakh domestic passengers.
Meanwhile, the company’s low-cost carrier JetLite carried 3.77 lakh passengers in February.
Currently, Jet Airways connects 47 domestic and 24 international destinations with a fleet of 97 aircraft, while JetLite flies to 27 domestic and one international destination with a fleet of 19 aircraft.
