Jet Airways launches Mumbai-Riyadh flight
August 6th, 2009 - 9:09 pm ICT by IANSMumbai, Aug 6 (IANS) Private carrier Jet Airways Thursday launched its maiden flight from Mumbai to Saudi Arabian capital Riyadh.
Riyadh is now Jet’s second destination in Saudi Arabia after Jeddah, and eighth in the Gulf after Kuwait, Bahrain, Muscat, Doha, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Jeddah and Riyadh.
The airline, which has deployed the state-of-the-art Boeing 737-800 aircraft on the Mumbai-Riyadh route, will fly on the sector every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Jet will also launch a daily service to Dubai from Hyderabad, its fifth daily service to the Gulf, and to Bangkok from Mumbai from Aug 16.
In addition, it will also launch a Kochi-Sharjah flight Sep 1.
