Japan’s Ylem Infotech starts Indian operations
May 31st, 2011 - 11:59 pm ICT by IANSThiruvananthapuram, May 31 (IANS) Japan-based Ylem Infotech Pvt Ltd, a Technopark-TBI incubated company, has commenced its Indian operations from Technopark campus here, company officials said.
Ryo Haishima and Horoyuko Chihara, directors of Ylem - which offers web/software services of flash animations, gaming softwares and mobile applications, signed an agreement with Technopark CEO Mervin Alexander Tuesday.
“Our objective is to have a base in India which would enable us to tap the Indian market for software professionals and undertake software development and other services for both domestic and international clients,” said Haishima.
Ylem Infotech has established partnership contract with two Japanese companies who sell their solutions and services to other corporates in Japan.
The mobile application development will be accomplished from the Technopark office, while multimedia animation works are being planned to be outsourced from Japan.
The company works in the technology domains of Java, J2EE, Android, J2ME and Flash.
Welcoming the new firm to Technopark, Alexander said Ylem Infotech was the first Japanese company to set shop there.
