Jaguar XJ named luxury car of the year
April 21st, 2011 - 5:38 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, April 21 (IANS) Tata Group’s global luxury car Jaguar XJ was Thursday named the international luxury car of the year by the renown Road and Travel magazine.
The car, which was launched last year, is manufactured by Tata Group’s luxury automobile subsidiary Jaguar Land Rover. The prestigious title was bestowed upon the car by an internationally-renowned jury of automotive journalists.
According to the jury, the luxury car earned the title as it combined unique design features with stellar performance.
“The car was launched in May 2010, and has been extremely well received by customers and media alike,” said the company in a statement.
