International auto expo opens in Sharjah
October 15th, 2010 - 3:02 am ICT by IANSSharjah, Oct 15 (IANS/WAM) Car manufacturers from across the globe will showcase a host of latest models during the five-day International Automobile Show opened here Thursday.
The 10th edition of the region’s most popular expo is expected to witness a record number of auto enthusiasts from the entire Middle East.
Mitsubishi ASX crossover and the Infinity M luxury sedan are some of the international models which will debut in the UAE market. Besides, some of the finest vehicles from the Sharjah Classic Car Museum and the Nissan 4×4 Zone will also be displayed at the event.
The expo, opened by Prince Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qassimi, has been organised in conjunction with the Middle East Motor Tuning Show (MEMTS).
