Infosys posts net profit of over Rs.17 bn in Q2
October 15th, 2010 - 11:13 am ICT by IANSBangalore, Oct 15 (IANS) Infosys Technologies Ltd posted a net profit of Rs.17.37 billion (Rs.1,737 crore) for the second quarter (July-Sept) of the fiscal 2010-11, registering year-on-year (YoY) growth of 13.2 percent and 16.7 percent sequentially as per the Indian accounting standard.
In a regulatory notification Friday, the IT bellwether said its consolidated revenue for the quarter (Q2) under review was Rs.69.47 billion (Rs.6,947 crore), a YoY growth of 24.4 percent and 12 percent quarter-on-quarter (QoQ).
Under the International Financial Regulatory System (IFRS), net income is $374 million, up 18 percent YoY and 14.7 percent QoQ while gross income is $1.5 billion, up 29.6 percent YoY and 10.2 percent QoQ.
