Infosys net up 14 percent in third quarter
January 13th, 2011 - 11:07 am ICT by IANSBangalore, Jan 13 (IANS) Infosys Technologies Ltd posted net profit of Rs.1,780 crore (Rs.17.8 billion) for the third quarter (October-December) in the fiscal 2010-11, registering 14.2 percent year-on-year growth, according to the Indian accounting standard.In a regulatory filing Thursday, the IT bellwether said its consolidated revenue at Rs.7,106 crore (Rs.71.06 billion) grew 24 percent year-on-year.
Under the International Financial Regulatory System (IFRS), net income grew 19 percent year-on-year to $397 million and gross income by 29 percent year-on-year to $1.6 billion.
