Infosys declares 400 percent final dividend for FY 2011
April 15th, 2011 - 12:20 pm ICT by IANSBangalore, April 15 (IANS) Infosys Technologies Ltd Friday declared a final dividend of Rs.20 per share of Rs.5 each or 400 percent for fiscal 2010-11, an increase of 100 percent over the previous fiscal (2009-10).
With an interim dividend of Rs.10 per share (200 percent) and Rs.30 per share (600 percent) special dividend on the occasion of the IT bellwether completing 30 years, the total dividend for fiscal under review (FY 2011) zoomed to Rs.60 per share or a whopping 1,200 percent, as against Rs.25 per share (500 percent) in the previous fiscal.
“The board of directors has recommended a final dividend of Rs.20 per share for fiscal 2011. The payment is subject to the approval of shareholders in the ensuing annual general meeting in June,” the company said in a statement here.
