Indra Nooyi, Piyush Pandey to speak at AdAsia 2011

Amitabh Bachchan New Delhi, Sep 8 (IANS) Leading business honchos including Indra Nooyi, chairman and chief executive officer of PepsiCo, and Piyush Pandey, executive chairman and creative director, South Asia, Ogilvy and Mather India will address the AdAsia 2011 event being held in India after a gap of eight years.

The event which would see participation from over 100 delegated and 45 speakers from across the world was last hosted by India in 2003 in Jaipur.

Other prominent business leaders who will address the occasion include Irfan Mustafa, chief leadership development officer, Yum! Brands, Vikram Sakhuja, chief executive officer (South Asia), Group M, Harish Manwani, chief operating officer, Unilever and journalist and writer Anna Bernasek among others.

“So far we have received confirmation from 37 speakers while we are awaiting response from the rest. As far as as delegates are concerned, over 300 delegates have already been registered,” Madhukar Kamath, chairman, AdAsia and group chief executive officer and managing director, Mudra Group, told reporters here.

The congress has also sought participation from Bollywood actors including Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan but their confirmation is awaited as yet.
