Indian skills development firm enters US market

- Chennai, July 14 (IANS) SIP Academy India, a leading skills development company, Tuesday said it has acquired a 40 percent stake in the recently launched SIP USA, which started operations in Salt Lake City, Utah.
SIP (Sociable Intellectual Progressive) Academy, has trained over 110,000 children through its 456 learning centres (Abacus and mental math) in 200 cities across 20 states, a company statement said.
“The company has under its umbrella 456 franchisees and 600 trainers that account up to 90 percent of the total strength,” the statement added.
