Indian Hotels reports Rs.8.12 crore Q2 net profit
October 28th, 2011 - 6:57 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Oct 28 (IANS) Indian Hotels Friday logged a net profit of Rs.8.12 crore for the quarter ended Sep 30 as against a loss of Rs.6.3 crore during the like period of the previous financial year.
Its total income stood at Rs.357.56 crore during the quarter under review as against Rs.328.5 crore during the like period of the last fiscal, the company said in a regulatory filing.
During the quarter, the company launched a new 327-room Vivanta by Taj Hotel at Bangalore.
The company also said that in view of the seasonality of the sector, the financial results of the quarter and half-year ended Sep 30 are not indicative of full-year’s expected performance.
At the Bombay Stock Exchange, the shares of the company closed 0.65 percent up at Rs.69.80.
