May 21st, 2011 - 7:29 pm ICT by IANSBrussels, May 21 (IANS) India and Morocco are the two guest countries at the 9th World Investment Conference to be held in La Baule, France May 25-27.
“It is our desire to promote multilateral but also bilateral relationships. Every year we honour one or two countries and this year we are honouring India and Morocco, ” Jean Bernard Guerree, CEO of World Investment Conferences, told EuAsiaNews.
Giving the reason behind choosing India as a guest country, he said the investment opportunities between Europe and India are now rising.
“We need to continue educating businesses and political leaders about these opportunities. There is a definite appetite from Indian companies to set up base in Europe and vice-versa. We need to maintain this momentum and enhance,” said Guerree who was in Brussels to attend the European Business Summit.
The three-day international event’s theme will be “Gearing up European Growth for Global Benefits”.
