Income Tax notice to three Madhya Pradesh ministers

Bhopal, Oct 27 (IANS) The Income Tax Department here has issued notices to seven politicians belonging to the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party, among them three ministers, for not filing their tax returns, an official said Tuesday.
“Notices for not filing returns have been issued to seven people, who include three ministers in the government and four former ministers,” an IT official told IANS.
“Several reminders were given to them to furnishing their tax returns but to no avail,” he said.
The ministers to whom the notices were issued were Rural Development Minister Gopal Bhargav, PWD Minister Nagendra Singh and Minister of State for Revenue Karan Singh Verma.
The former ministers are Himmat Kothari, Narottam Mishra, Kamal Patel and Kusum Mehadele.
