New Delhi, Feb 1 (ANI-Business Wire India): Triton Corp Limited, a leading company, engaged in the business of IT and IT enabled services has posted a strong performance for the quarter ended December 31, 2007.
The income from operations for the company during the December quarter showed an increase of 176% to Rs.42.59 crores from Rs. 15.40 crores reported in the corresponding quarter ended December 31, 2006.
The profit after tax for the company has gone up by 10% to Rs.6.47 crores from Rs.5.85 crores reported in the corresponding quarter ended December 31, 2006.
Similarly profit after tax during the quarter ending December 2007 has grown up by 12% at Rs.6.47 crores over that of last quarter ending September 2007.
The company had earlier purchased 100% equity of Maple eSolutions Ltd from Haryana Fibres Ltd. Maple eSolutions Ltd is a company in the similar line of business as that of the company i.e. IT, ITES and BPO. It is currently running a 150 seater call centre at Noida (UP). Further that the company had acquired Westtalk Corporate Limited, UK as 100% subsidiary effective July 2007 for a better synergy in the operations of both the companies.
Triton Corp Limited is engaged in the business of IT and IT enabled services with Saffron Global an SBU. Saffron is running an ultramodern 850 seats call center built with state-of-art technology with full back up and redundancy measures at Gurgaon (Haryana). The call center is 100% EOU registered with STPI.
The shares of Triton Corp are listed with the Bombay Stock Exchange. (ANI)
