Mumbai, Feb 22 (IANS) Software solutions provider i-flex Solutions Ltd has said that Japan-based Rakuten Inc and Tokyo Tomin Bank have successfully launched an online banking branch based on its Flexcube solution and the Vietnam-based FPT Bank will be installing this core banking solution this year. According to a company statement issued Friday, the online banking branch in Japan was hosted at Raakuten Ichiba, the country’s largest e-market.
Giving details about the Japanese e-market, i-flex Solutions said that Rakuten Inc provides the online marketplace for sellers to market their products to Internet shoppers.
Rakuten Financial Solution is the banking and financial services subsidiary of Rakuten Inc, while the Tokyo Tomin Bank serves the funding needs of small and medium-sized enterprises.
The company said FPT Bank would be launching retail and corporate banking operations in Vietnam based on I-flex’s software system.
