HCL Infosystems’ Dubai arm signs deal with Emirates group
November 10th, 2010 - 7:51 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Nov 10 (IANS) HCL Infosystems MEA, the Dubai-based subsidiary of HCL Infosystems, Wednesday said that it has partnered with Mercator IT division of the Emirates group to manage IT infrastructure of the United Arab Emirates-based low cost carrier flydubai.
Under this agreement, HCL Infosystems will provide, manage and support all end-user devices and services for flydubai.
This partnership will help flydubai optimize provisioning of critical services such as check-in, departure control, network planning, flight and crew operations, aircraft maintenance and other back office systems, the company said in a statement.
The company however did not disclose the transaction details.
“We are excited with our recent entry into the Middle East market and hope to draw tremendous synergies with our solutions stack and the opportunity that exists in this part of the world,” said Rajeev Asija, executive vice president, system integration and international business, HCL Infosystems.
