Hisar (Haryana), Oct 24 (IANS) Made in China products are all around the globe but scientists from there will now get tips on buffalo breeding from their Indian counterparts in Haryana.
Scientists at the Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University (CCSHAU), Hisar, Saturday offered cooperation to China’s Guangzhi Buffalo Research Centre for research projects.

HAU vice chancellor K.S. Khokhar told a delegation of 16 visiting Chinese scientists that the university would help them breed high-milk yielding buffaloes.

Khokhar said that Haryana is known all over the world for its milk production and Murrah buffaloes.

He said that HAU had made significant achievement in improving breeds of buffaloes, cows, goats, sheep and poultry.

Leader of the Chinese delegation Huang Giashian said that as the yield of buffalo milk was low in China, they had come here to learn from Indian scientists.

The queries made by the Chinese delegation were regarding various diseases of buffaloes and their management and problems about their breeding, rearing and fodder.
