Haryana to release 40,000 tubewell connections
June 21st, 2011 - 10:56 pm ICT by IANSChandigarh, June 21 (IANS) Haryana will soon clear the backlog of over 40,000 tubewell connections pending in the state, Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda announced here Tuesday.
He said the tubewell connections would give a big boost to agriculture in Haryana.
He said that majority of the tubewell connections would be covered under the modified High Voltage Distribution System (HVDS) policy.
