Haryana power corporation doubles incentives to staff
March 31st, 2010 - 9:48 pm ICT by IANSChandigarh, March 31 (IANS) Haryana Power Generation Corporation Limited (HPGCL) will give its employees incentives to keep them motivated to achieve production targets, a company official said here Wednesday.
“We have approved the payment of generation incentive to the employees of various stations. This incentive is given for achieving target performance during a month and also during a particular day,” Sanjeev Kaushal, HPGCL managing director, told reporters here.
He added: “Incentives will also be given for reducing oil consumption and auxiliary consumption at the generating units. A unique feature of the new generation incentive scheme is that the incentive has been linked with the grade pay and the rates of incentive payable have been almost doubled this time.”
Kaushal said the incentive scheme is in line with the practices followed by other power utilities.
