Gurgaon to auction hoarding structures
December 2nd, 2009 - 7:49 pm ICT by IANSGurgaon, Dec 2 (IANS) Putting up hoardings at just about every place in Haryana’s millennium city Gurgaon could soon be a thing of the past. The city authorities will auction the metal structures of illegal hoardings.
Announcing its plans Wednesday to clamp down on the hoarding mafia of the city, home to hundreds of IT, real estate and multinational firms, the municipal corporation said it would hold on the spot auction of all metal structure of unauthorized hoardings installed in the corporation limits.
The auction would be held Dec 5, Commissioner Rajesh Khullar said.
