Chandigarh, Feb 18 (IANS) The national capital region planning board Monday approved a plan for widening the Gurgaon-Alwar road at a cost of Rs.3.48 billion. The Haryana government also approved the widening and strengthening of the Gurgaon-Farukhnagar-Jhajjar road via Sultanpur at a cost of Rs.930 million.
Tenders for both projects will be called within 15 days, the state’s chief secretary Promila Issar said.
Both projects were cleared at a review meeting of Haryana chief secretary with senior officers of the Gurgaon division.
The meeting was held via videoconferencing between state officials at the civil secretariat here and Gurgaon division officials in Gurgaon near Delhi.
