- Kolkata, Oct 26 (IANS) Riding on expansion plans Godrej Interio, a business unit of Godrej & Boyce Mfg Co, is eyeing Rs.2,000 crore turnover by 2012-13, a top company official said here Monday.
“Godrej Interio targets Rs.2,000 crore turnover by 2012-13. At present, we plan to be present in every home and workplace,” said company Chief Operating Officer Anil Mathur.
Godrej Interio offers interior solutions for living room, bedroom, kids room, and offices.
The company was keen to strengthen its presence in laboratory and healthcare furniture solutions too, Mathur said.
To meet the burgeoning demand, the company was looking for a suitable location for setting up a production facility, preferably in south India to offload pressure from its Vikhroli (Mumbai) unit, general manager (sales and marketing) Ratul Majumdar said.
Besides Vikhroli, the company now has a production unit in Guwahati and in Uttarakhand.
The company is aiming to open more show rooms across the country to expand businesses, he added.
