GMDC goes paperless
August 11th, 2011 - 12:42 am ICT by IANSAhmedabad, Aug 10 (IANS) Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation(GMDC) became the first public sector undertaking in the minerals and mines sector to go paperless.
This announcement was made here Wednesday by consultants Capgemini, who have enabled the automation of the company’s existing processes. Apart from internal benefits, the solution has also enabled online order booking for GMDC’s customers. The solution will assist the over 1,000 employees of GMDC across 12 locations in Gujarat, including the mines operated by the company.
