Hong Kong, Nov 11 (IANS) The Cable and Satellite Broadcasting Association of Asia (Casbaa) has elected four people of Indian origin to its board of governors, the high-profile advocacy for the television broadcast industry said Wednesday.
The board now includes BAG Network chairperson Anurradha Prasad, Hinduja-owned IndusInd Media managing director Ravi Mansukhani, Tata Sky chief executive Vikram Kaushik and ESPN Sports managing director Manu Sawhney.

They will serve a two-year term, even as Marcel Fenez of the entertainment and media practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers was re-elected for a similar tenure as chairman, said a statement issued by Casbaa.

The association is an advocacy dedicated to promoting multi-channel television through cable, satellite, broadband and wireless video networks across the Asian region. It represents some 130 member organisations, serving over three billion people.
