The total seating capacity our Coimbatore facility is 750,” Joginder P. Singh, president and managing director, told IANS.
He said the company serves Ford Motor’s various global operations in terms of information technology, accounting, engineering services (vehicle design and others), business analytics, tax related work, transactional work for Ford Credit (finance arm for Ford vehicles) and others.
“Our employees here serve Ford Motor’s operations in nine time zones. We have been able to standardise many of the operations now,” Singh added.
Speaking about operations in Coimbatore, around 500 km from here, he said: “The attrition rate is certainly low there. Further, we are able to attract talent within and outside Coimbatore.”
