Flydubai announces new service to Bangladesh
January 6th, 2011 - 10:26 pm ICT by IANSDubai, Jan 6 (IANS/WAM) Flydubai, one of the United Arab Emirates’ low-cost airlines, has announced the start of flights to Bangladesh from this month.The announcement means passengers will be able to select direct low-cost flights from Dubai to two of Bangladesh’s most important cities - Dhaka and Chittagong.
Ghaith Al Ghaith, Flydubai’s chief executive officer, said: “The year 2010 was a hugely eventful and significant year for Flydubai, and was capped off by the announcement of our service to Chittagong, which will commence on January 17. I am very pleased that the addition of Dhaka to our route network is our first announcement of 2011.”
Flights to Dhaka will operate four times a week starting Feb 14.
