Flydubai adds new Boeing to fleet
June 18th, 2010 - 6:56 am ICT by IANSDubai, June 18 (IANS/WAM) UAE’s low cost airline Flydubai has acquired its ninth Boeing 737-800NG aircraft.
The plane arrived at the Dubai International Airport Wednesday. It will be put into service on the Dubai-Istanbul route.
The airline, which began its operation June 1, 2009, will acquire 13 new aircraft this year.
Flydubai CEO Ghaith Al Ghaith said: “The aircraft is testament to the planning and hard work of the team and shows flydubai’s dedication to providing the highest standards of safety, reliability and quality by investing in the expansion of our fleet of next generation aircraft.”
