Flights between Delhi, Shimla cancelled
January 17th, 2010 - 12:02 pm ICT by IANSShimla, Jan 17 (IANS) Air connectivity between New Delhi and this Himachal Pradesh capital was snapped Sunday due to thick fog in the national capital, an official said here.
“Flights between Delhi and Shimla were cancelled this (Sunday) morning due to dense fog in Delhi,” an official at the airport said.
He said the Kingfisher flight comes here daily at 11.30 a.m. from Delhi and departs at 12 noon.
Kingfisher is the only airline that operates one to and fro flight between Delhi and Shimla.
The airport here had remained shut for five days together from Jan 1 due to fog.
