Flights between Delhi and Himachal resume
January 5th, 2010 - 11:51 am ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Shimla, Jan 5 (IANS) Air connectivity between New Delhi and Himachal Pradesh partially resumed Tuesday, an official said. The air link was snapped Sunday due to thick fog in the national capital.
“Flights between Delhi and Kullu and Delhi and Dharamsala were restored Tuesday. Flights to and from Shimla may be restored later today (Tuesday),” an official at the airport here said.
K.M. Mehra, airport controller at Bhuntar near Kullu, said that the Delhi-Kullu flight arrived on time at 8 a.m. Tuesday and departed for Delhi at 8.30 a.m.
Kingfisher is the only airline that operates regular flights between Delhi and Himachal Pradesh.
