Fiat launches Linea T-Jet, T Jet Plus
October 8th, 2010 - 5:41 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Oct 8 (IANS) With an eye on the festive season in India, Fiat India Friday launched two variants of its C plus flagship car Linea, the T-Jet and the T-Jet Plus.
The T-Jet is priced at Rs.8.55 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) and 8.84 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai). The T-Jet plus on the other hand carries a price tag of 8.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) and 9.29 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai).
“Linea T-Jet (model) literally sets a benchmark in the C plus segment with its robust engine and the never ending list of features. Linea T-Jet is sure to give competition in the C plus segment, a run for its money,” said Rajeev Kapoor, president and chief executive of the Indian subsidiary of Italian auto major Fiat.
According to the company, the Linea T-jet model has 13 new features and seven class leading equipments like more powerful engine, fuel efficiency and safety features.
Initially the company will market the new variants in the Mumbai-Pune and Delhi-National Capital Region (NCR).
“Fiat India will initially focus on two of the most important markets, Mumbai, Pune and Delhi, NCR, which constitute 60 percent sales volume in the C plus segment,” the company said in a statement.
The car manufacturer also said that both the versions of Linea, the T-Jet and the T-Jet Plus, will come with premium imported leather upholstery and soft touch dashboard with chrome accents.
Other features of the car include auto air conditioning, with rear knee and foot level AC vents and is powered by 114 PS power engine with an torque of 207 Nm.
