Fake cold drink factory busted, six held
July 2nd, 2010 - 6:19 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, July 2 (IANS) Six people were arrested Friday after police busted a fake cold drink factory here seizing about 1,000 spurious bottles of well-known brands, police said.
The factory producing the drinks under the brand names of Pepsi, Coke, Sprite and Thumbs Up was raided in north Delhi.
A police officer said the products were supplied to local markets, almost daily. About 1,000 bottles were seized.
The man who ran the factory, Rakesh Tomar, was absconding, police said.
