New Delhi, Apr 9 (ANI): Exiled Tibetan students staged protest march here today against alleged Chinese repression in Tibet.
About 90 Tibetan students of Tibetan schools in Mysore and Dharamsala took to the streets holding banners and Tibetan flags.
They called for the Tibetan language to be made the medium of instruction in Tibet. They said only a free Tibet could solve their problems.
There are a lot of problems in Tibet and I want a free Tibet, said Sujum, one of the protestors.
The racial discrimination of Tibetan children by the Chinese regime independent and fair investigation by UNICEF, they said.
We are fighting for children’s rights in Tibet, said Suin chi, a protestor.
The Tibetan government-in-exile says over 111,000 Tibetans are living in exile, the majority of them in India. (ANI)
