Ex Sleeper Spy Anna Chapman Hired by Russian Bank
October 12th, 2010 - 12:04 am ICT by Angela Kaye Mason
Anna Chapman, former Russian sleeper spy and overall celebrity has now become the new face of a bank in Moscow, Russia.
FondServisBank is connected to Russian aerospace companies, and has hired Chapman to bring innovation to their information technology. It is unclear whether she is being used solely for her IT knowledge and skills, or for her fame.
According to the Associated Press, Chapman was seen last week at the remote Baikonur cosmodrome for the launch of Russian rocket carrying a Russian-American crew into space. An official with Russia’s space agency told the AP that she was there as an advisor to the bank’s president, but that has not been confirmed by the bank.
Her sudden appearance has made quite a stir with the media, since she has been pretty much off the radar since her return to the country.
