EU exports to India in 2011 worth $36.5 bn
November 15th, 2011 - 9:59 pm ICT by IANSBrussels, Nov 15 (IANS) The European Union Tuesday said its exports to India in the first eight months of 2011 were worth 26.9 billion euros (around $36.5 billion).
This was up by 22 percent from the same period in 2010, when exports to India were worth 22.1 billion euro, according to figures released Tuesday by the 27-member EU’s statistical office Eurostat.
India’s exports to the EU went up by 23 percent from 21.7 billion euro in 2010 to 26.7 billion euro in 2011 for the January-August period, EuAsiaNews reported.
