ETA Star promotes an integrated township

Chennai, Aug 10 (IANS) Real estate developer ETA Star TechCity Tuesday said it will build a Rs.600-crore residential-cum-commercial township, Globevill, near here.
“In the first phase around 2,000 residential apartments will be constructed and will be completed by 2012,” ETA Star Director Fayaz Ahmed told reporters.
The entire township and commercial units will be completed in five years on 350 acres in Sriperumbudur.
Part of the Dubai-based, $3-billion ETA Ascon group, ETA Star has roped in Ryan International School for setting up a school in the township.
According to ETA Star Managing Director Ahamed Shakir, the booking for the apartments would start on Aug 14 and the price will be Rs.2,200 per square feet.
He said the company is in talks with State Bank of India for a loan.
