August 26th, 2010 - 7:14 pm ICT by IANSKolkata, Aug 26 (IANS) Britain-based Eredene Capital Plc may raise around $200-300 million from overseas markets to invest in infrastructure projects in India, a top company official said here Thursday.
The company till now has invested $80 million in India in 11 projects, out of which nine are port projects.
“Our target is to raise $200-300 million. That is the take up we see,” Company Director Nikhil Naik told reporters.
He, however, said the market condition overseas is still precarious and money raising would depend on the market.
Eredene would explore markets in the Far East, he said.
