Mohali (Punjab), April 11 (IANS) Dubai-based international airline Emirates will be the title sponsor of Kings XI Punjab for the second season of the Twenty20 Indian Premier League (IPL) to held in South Africa, an official release said here Saturday.
“International airline Emirates will be the team’s title sponsor for the next edition of the IPL. They will remain our title sponsor for the next three years,” the release said.
“Besides Emirates, Kings XI has tied up with eight more sponsors,” the release added.
Bollywood actor and chairperson of Kings XI Preity Zinta said: “We welcome Emirates to our family as the title sponsor.”
“All our sponsors are dynamic and share the common passion to promote the game of cricket. With their support and our talented team, Kings XI Punjab is ready to win the IPL trophy.”
Team captain Yuvraj Singh said: “South Africa has seen some great crowds who really enjoy the game of cricket and we promise to take the excitement there. Teamwork will play a vital role and together we are looking forward to win the next season of the IPL.”
