Emirates flight makes emergency landing in Mumbai
July 27th, 2011 - 6:32 pm ICT by IANSMumbai, July 27 (IANS) A Mumbai-Dubai Emirates airlines flight made an emergency landing here Wednesday afternoon following a technical snag, an official said.
Emirates flight No. EK-507, which had taken off 3.35 pm, returned to the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport at 3.58 p.m. due to a technical problem with one of its engines.
A full-fledged emergency situation was declared at the airport to facilitate the smooth landing of the distressed aircraft.
The flight with 202 passengers and crew on board landed safely, the official said.
