Emami eyes Rs.500 cr sales this winter
November 24th, 2009 - 5:22 pm ICT by IANSKolkata, Nov 24 (IANS) The Rs.2,500-crore diversified business group Emami is looking at winter care product sales of Rs.500 crore this year, and will spend Rs.40 crore on advertising and promotion for this purpose.
“The company is aiming at attaining about 60 percent growth in winter sales this season compared to the corresponding period in the previous fiscal (2008-09),” a company statement said here Tuesday.
“We are targeting about Rs.500 crore sales with our winter products through aggressive marketing plans, positioning and pricing strategies,” said Emami director Aditya V. Agarwal.
