East Coast Railway to run two weekly special trains
August 2nd, 2011 - 10:46 pm ICT by IANSBhubaneswar, Aug 2 (IANS) The East Coat Railway Tuesday said it will run two weekly special trains to Shirdi in Maharashtra from Bhubaneswar and Visakhapatnam to facilitate wait-list passengers.
The first special train will leave Bhubaneswar every Friday between Aug 5 and Dec 23 and will arrive at the Hindu pilgrimage town of Shirdi Sunday, an official of the Bhubaneswar-headquartered East Coast Railway told IANS.
The train will run via Visakhapatnam, Secunderabad and Nizamabad. In the return direction, it will arrive at Bhubaneswar Tuesday.
The second special train will leave Visakhapatnam every Thursday between Aug 4 and Dec 29 and will arrive at Shirdi Friday.
In the return direction, the train will leave Shirdi Friday and arrive at Visakhapatnam every Saturday, he said.
