Durex launches e-store to increase condom sales
October 11th, 2010 - 9:35 pm ICT by IANSMumbai, Oct 11 (IANS) Durex India has launched an eStore to facilitate the sale of condoms online.
“We came up with the eStore for our Indian customers to enable them purchase products online. In India, people are still hesitant to go to a store and buy condoms. They are even more hesitant to enquire about the variety that is available and generally grab what is handed over to them,”
said a company spokesperson.
Through the url www.durexindia.com/estore, consumers can view the range, select what suits them and make the payment.
The order is delivered within three to five days after the payment is made.
“The privacy of the consumer is respected and the consumer’s details are kept confidential,” the spokesperson said.
