DLF Pramerica enters Himachal Pradesh
November 2nd, 2011 - 7:44 pm ICT by IANSShimla, Nov 2 (IANS) DLF Pramerica Life Insurance (DPLI) Wednesday made a foray into Himachal Pradesh by opening its first branch office here, a company’s official said here.
“After opening offices in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and Gujarat, we have now entered this state,” executive vice president Maninder Sood told reporters.
He said the state has a lot of potential for life insurance business. “We have now 84,000 customer base.”
DPLI is a joint venture between real estate developer DLF and Prudential International Insurance Holdings (PIIH), a US based company.
“We have started operations in India three years ago and are expanding our presence across the country in a phased manner,” he added.
