Delhi to increase loan amount for minorities, Dalits
November 16th, 2011 - 12:30 am ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Nov 15 (IANS) The Delhi government Tuesday decided to raise, from Rs.1 lakh to Rs.5 lakh, the loan amount for self-employment of people belonging to minorities, Scheduled Castes (SCs) and Scheduled Tribes (STs).
“The loan amount for the self-employment of minorities, SCs, STs and OBCs (Other Backward Classes) will be raised from the existing Rs.1 lakh to Rs.5 lakh,” Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit said after laying the foundation stone of a women’s wing in an Industrial Training Institute in east Delhi.
