Delhi post offices sold 3.5 kg gold on Dhanteras
October 25th, 2011 - 7:56 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Oct 25 (IANS) Post offices across the city sold 3.5 kg of gold on the occasion of Dhanteras, the ministry of communications and IT said Tuesday.
“On the occasion of Dhanteras yesterday three-and-a-half kg gold was sold by selected 23 post offices in Delhi circle,” the department said in a statement.
The price of gold coins sold ranged from Rs.1,716.71 for 0.5 gm to Rs.146,255.90 for 50 gms.
