Delhi mulls guidelines for cell phone towers
January 19th, 2012 - 12:33 am ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )New Delhi, Jan 18 (IANS) In the wake of complaints regarding health hazards of radiation from mobile phone towers, the Delhi government Wednesday said it will hold a meeting with the ministry of communication and IT on issuing guidelines to telecom firms.
“We will hold a meeting with the central ministry regarding issuing the guidelines in the capital,” Delhi Health Minister A.K. Walia said after a meeting on the issue.
