“From today (Wednesday), visitors to the Metro museum at the Patel Chowk Metro Station can carry a lasting memory back home - a toy metro train will be available for sale at the souvenir shop,” Delhi Metro spokesperson Anuj Dayal said.
The steel-grey coloured toy is a miniature of an actual metro coach on a ratio of 1:64.
Two types of toys are available with and without the push-back feature like a toy car. The toy is priced Rs.105 and Rs.95, respectively.
The Delhi Metro, which is rapidly becoming the lifeline of the capital, is set to expand from 75 km to 200 km by opening six new lines on its phase II by October 2010.
