Delhi duty free offers discount to CWG athletes
October 4th, 2010 - 7:18 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Oct 4 (IANS) Retailer Delhi Duty Free Services (DDFS) Monday said it would launch a special discount offer for the Commonwealth Games athletes from Oct 5-19.
“In recognition of their achievements, we are offering them discounts to shop at our duty free shops for exquisite chocolates, perfumes, liquor and more,” said Nicholas Goddard Palmer, chief executive, DDFS.
DDFS is a joint venture company between Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL), Indian Duty Free Services (IDFS) and Aer Rianta International (ARI).
The company manages and operate the duty-free shops at Terminal-3 (T3) of the Indira Gandhi International airport.
“The promotion entitles all medal winning athletes to avail 20 percent discount and all other participating athletes to avail a 10 percent discount on every purchase,” said Palmer.
