Delhi body to aid industries
December 8th, 2009 - 8:37 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Dec 8 (IANS) The Delhi government has set up a Business Facilitation Council to facilitate entrepreneurs to obtain clearances from various departments to set up enterprises in a time bound manner.
The objective of the council is to ensure that there is a simplified and single point contact system for the grant of various permissions, according to an official release.
The BFC Cell shall be the interface between the entrepreneur and the departments and agencies concerned with the setting up of news industries.
The Joint Commissioner of Industries shall ensure that all applications received by the BFC Cell are processed in a timely manner. In the event of bottlenecks, he shall take steps for remedial action.
